The Rotary-Kerber HeartSafe Community Campaign (https://iowaheartsafe.org) recently sponsored an AED Treasure Hunt to encourage people to be aware of AEDs in the community. Sudden Cardiac Arrest survival doubles when a bystander uses an AED.
The first place winner was Team Tarty’s Party (Chris Foster, Liz Felix, Becky Dewing, and Cara Delaney) winning an AED plus $250.
The second place winner consisted of two West High School students, Kamakshee Kuchhal and Eleanor Weitz, winning $150. Congratulations!
